Born in Shizuoka ,and grown in Shizuoka.
The sesame was cultivated widely in the garden of countryside or the farmhouse in the past. However, it is difficult for sesame cultivation to mechanize and takes a lot of labor, it has been gradually on the decrease.
More than 99% of sesame consumptions of Japan depends on the import from other countries, and the self-sufficiency ratio has only 0.1% now.
“NAGOMI SHIZUKA” is golden sesame seed much more rare than white or black one, 100% of Shizuoka products.
No agricultural chemicals are used for the duration of cultivation.
It is cultivated in a warm and comfortable climate, so each sesame seed is stuffed with plenty of sunshine, love of producers and nature of Shizuoka in the small body.
It is tiny but always healthy and vigorous.

It is roasted milder for sesame oil to leave the original aroma and taste of sesame itself on final product.
The “NAGOMI SHIZUKA” sesame oil is all slowly and carefully first-pressed by the method from old times.

The golden sesame oil and raw sesame seed of this season already sold out, roasted sesame seed remains a little. The products of next season is going to sell from late November in 2017.
